The sock baffle is designed so it can be assembled in either a left hand or right hand configuration. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv align=\"left\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv align=\"left\"\u003eAll parts are test fitted prior to packaging to insure they go together quickly and easily.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv align=\"left\"\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch5 align=\"left\"\u003eInstallation Notes:\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003cdiv align=\"left\"\u003eMany producers of similar kits will state that you can assemble the kit with aquarium safe silicone, or 'Silicone for Plastics\".  This is not true.  While aquarium safe silicone is used to install the baffles in the tank, it should never be used to bond the three pieces of the sock baffle together.  To bond the three panels of the sock baffle you will need to use an acrylic cement such as Sci-Grip Weld-On #3, #4 or #16.  While you technically could use silicone or \"silicone for plastics\" they are not designed to bond plastics together. The joints between the parts will fail causing major leaks or total collapse of your sock baffle.  Weld-On Cement is a specialty product and working with it can require special equipment and safety gear.  If you don't want to tackle that then please take a look at our \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/marinebiosystems.com\/collections\/sump-kits\/products\/ezbuild-pro-sump-kit-base-kit\" title=\"EZBuild Sump Kits\"\u003eEzBuild kits\u003c\/a\u003e. They are functionally the same kit with all the sock baffle bonding work done for you here in the shop.
