O-ring Sealed Inlets
Our exclusive lid design includes o-ring seals to prevent salt creep around the inlet pipe. This provides the sealing benefits of bulkheads while retaining the compact spacing of through holes.
ezBuild Filter Baffle
Our ezBuild filter baffle is the only one on the market that is designed for use with standard aquarium filter foam and it comes pre-assembled using acrylic cement. This saves you significant assembly time and negates the need to buy and use acrylic cement on your own. Available in left and right hand configurations.
Removable Filter Support Plate
The media support plate is perforated with 1/4" holes to provide excellent water flow while maintaining solid support for filter media. The panel is easily removable for cleaning of the panel and the chamber beneath it.
Side Entry Inlets
The sock panels form a side chamber for the water to enter the sump. It then flows up and over the sock plate and into the socks. This configuration allows the socks to be changed with the return pump running.
Adjustable Water Depth
The running depth o the sump can be easily adjusted with two nylon thumbscrews.
Secondary Filtration
Media stands in the bubble trap can support filter foam or other filtration substrates for a final polish before the water enters the return chamber.
Optional Inlet Plumbing Kit
The optional inlet pipe kit makes connecting to your tank drain plumbing a breeze via standard slip/slip 1" PVC couplers. The pipes work perfectly with the integrated lid seals to keep water and salt from creeping through the inlet holes. The relief cuts in each pipe look great and function to minimize micro bubbles and water turbulence..
