CNC machined from 1/4" Black Cast Acrylic at our shop in the USA!

These are machined with the front and sides as one piece and bent to provide a high quality smooth corner finish.  Since it remains a single piece, the side vertical edges cannot leak. The bottom and lid have recessed joints. For the bottom that has two benefits.  First, the increased surface area insures a solid, leak free joint.  Also the recessed edges are machined straight and square so the sides and front of the box will be square and flush to the bottom.  This gives the box a very high quality, well finished appearance.

Also, CNC machining allows us to bevel the bottoms of the inside of each weir slot.  That beveled surface draws the water down smoothly as it passes through the overflow creating an exceptionally quiet overflow.

Always confirm the glass panel on the tank you are drilling to install overflow plumbing is not tempered prior to ordering.  Aqueon states in their documentation that the tanks listed for these overflows are not tempered on the sides or bottom. However, Aqueon will use tempered glass in any panel on any tank if supply or demand requires it.  So any specific tank can have tempered glass on any panel - Always check your specific tank before drilling.
